オーストラリアのカフェ文化
Australia has become one of the most famous coffee countries in the world. The café culture was brought to Australia by Italian and Greek immigrants who arrived after World War II. Since then, Australians have developed their own unique coffee style. A flat white, which was invented in Australia, is now enjoyed in many countries. Unlike America, large chain coffee shops have not been very successful here. Australians prefer small, independent cafés that are run by local baristas. Melbourne, which is known as the coffee capital of Australia, has more cafés per person than almost any other city. Many Australians have made their morning coffee a daily ritual that they cannot live without. The café is also a place where people meet friends and do work.

I have visited many cafés in Melbourne, but Proud Mary is the best one that I have ever been to. The flat white here is made with carefully selected beans which are roasted in-house every week. I was impressed by the latte art which was created on top of my coffee. The food menu has also been updated recently, and the avocado toast is highly recommended. This café has been awarded several prizes for its excellent coffee. If you visit Melbourne, Proud Mary is a place that must not be missed.
