Australia is internationally renowned for its extraordinary wildlife, much of which cannot be found anywhere else on the planet. Marsupials, which carry their young in pouches, represent the most distinctive category of Australian animals. The kangaroo, of which there are over 40 recognised species, has become the nation's most iconic symbol. Equally fascinating are koalas — arboreal marsupials that spend up to 22 hours per day sleeping, sustained almost exclusively by eucalyptus leaves. The platypus, arguably one of the most peculiar creatures ever to have evolved, is a semi-aquatic mammal that lays eggs yet produces milk — a combination so extraordinary that early European scientists initially dismissed specimens as elaborate hoaxes. Rarely does one encounter such biological diversity concentrated within a single continent, making Australia a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and researchers alike.

The only criticism I would offer is that the zoo is built on a steep hillside, which can be physically demanding for those who are not accustomed to walking uphill for extended periods.
