オーストラリア固有の動物
Australia has many unique animals. Kangaroos and koalas are the most famous. Kangaroos can jump very fast. Koalas sleep for about 20 hours a day! Wombats are also popular. They look like small bears. Platypus is a very strange animal. It has a duck's bill and lays eggs, but it is a mammal. You can see these animals at zoos or in the wild.

I visited Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary today. It is the world's oldest koala sanctuary! I held a koala and took a photo. The koala was so soft and fluffy. I also fed kangaroos by hand. They were very gentle. I saw platypus too, but they are hard to spot because they are shy. I definitely recommend this place!
