オージー英語スラング

G'day Mate!

Australian English is a bit different from American or British English. Australians love to shorten words! 'Afternoon' becomes 'arvo'. 'Breakfast' becomes 'brekkie'. 'Barbecue' becomes 'barbie'. They also use unique words. 'Mate' means friend. 'Heaps' means a lot. 'No worries' is used all the time! Don't be surprised if you don't understand everything at first.
