オーストラリアの基本情報
Australia is a country which is located in the Southern Hemisphere. It is the sixth largest country in the world, and its total area is approximately 7.7 million square kilometres. The population has reached about 26 million people, and most of them have settled along the coastline. The capital city is Canberra, which was chosen as the capital in 1908. Many people think Sydney or Melbourne is the capital, but that is a common misunderstanding. Australia is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The country has been divided into six states and two territories. Each state has its own unique characteristics and attractions. The landscape includes deserts, rainforests, and beautiful beaches that have attracted visitors from all over the world.
