季節、天気の会話
One thing that has surprised many Japanese visitors is the fact that seasons in Australia are opposite to those in Japan. When it is summer in Japan, it is winter in Australia. Christmas in Australia has always been celebrated during the summer, which means barbecues on the beach are a common tradition. The Australian summer lasts from December to February, and temperatures that are recorded in some areas can exceed 40 degrees Celsius. The northern part of Australia, which is closer to the equator, has a tropical climate with wet and dry seasons instead of the four seasons that are experienced in the south. Melbourne is known for its unpredictable weather, which has been described as having four seasons in one day. Understanding the climate is essential for anyone who is planning to live and work in Australia.

Unfortunately, parts of the reef have been damaged by coral bleaching that is caused by rising ocean temperatures. Despite this, the areas I explored were vibrant and full of colourful marine life. I would strongly recommend visiting between June and October, which is considered the best season.
