The Rise of Asian Food in Australia

Asian food has become an essential part of Australian dining culture. Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Indian restaurants can be found in every suburb across the country. Ramen, which was once only known in Japan, has now become hugely popular in Australian cities. Many ramen shops that have opened in recent years are run by Japanese chefs who have brought authentic recipes with them. Sushi, which is sold in supermarkets and food courts everywhere, has been enjoyed by Australians since the 1990s. Chinatown districts, which exist in Sydney, Melbourne, and other cities, have been important cultural centres for over a century. The popularity of Asian food has grown so much that fusion dishes, which combine Asian and Western cooking styles, are now a major trend in Australian restaurants.

📍 Ryo's Noodles — Sydney, Crow's Nest
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ryo's Noodles is the best ramen shop that I have found in Sydney. It is a small restaurant which is located in Crow's Nest, and it is always crowded with customers who love authentic Japanese ramen. The chef, who has trained in Japan for many years, makes everything from scratch. The tonkotsu broth, which is simmered for over twelve hours, has a rich and deep flavour that reminds me of ramen I have eaten in Tokyo. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the chashu pork is tender and delicious. I have tried many ramen shops in Australia, but this one has exceeded all my expectations. The only problem is the long queue that forms outside every evening. But it is definitely worth the wait.
