BBQに誘われる
The barbecue, or "barbie" as it is called by Australians, is one of the country's most beloved traditions. BBQs have been a part of Australian life for generations, and they are enjoyed by people of all ages. Public BBQ facilities, which are provided free of charge in parks across the country, have made it easy for anyone to enjoy outdoor cooking. A typical Aussie BBQ includes sausages, which are often called "snags," steaks, prawns, and salads. The food is usually cooked by the host, who stands at the grill while chatting with guests. BBQs are not just about food — they are social events where friendships are strengthened and memories are made. Australians have turned the simple act of grilling meat into a cultural experience that is cherished by the whole nation.

Q: オーストラリアの公園のBBQ施設はいくらですか?
I recently attended a BBQ at Barangaroo Reserve, which is located along Sydney Harbour. The free BBQ facilities that are provided here are clean and well-maintained. My friend, who is an excellent cook, prepared lamb chops and prawns that were seasoned with garlic and herbs. The sausages, which are always a must at any Aussie BBQ, were served in bread with onions and tomato sauce. What I enjoyed most was the beautiful view that could be seen from the BBQ area. The harbour bridge and the Opera House, which are Sydney's most famous landmarks, were right in front of us. I have been to many BBQ spots around Sydney, but this one has the best location. The only thing that could be improved is the number of BBQ plates, as they are sometimes all taken on busy days.

Q: BBQエリアから見えた有名な建物は何ですか?
"BYO" は Bring Your Own の略で、自分の飲み物を持ってきてという意味です。BBQに呼ばれたら "What should I bring?"(何を持っていけばいい?)
